8. Sustainable travel

We cover the travel costs through the project. However, the arrival and departure should be organized as environmentally friendly as possible. We therefore prefer public transport. If a journey by car is not possible due to the distance, we ask for a short feedback. In this case, we organize carpools.

9. Solidarity Contribution

To make FUTURA C accessible while supporting the long-term sustainability of the project, we work with a solidarity-based participation model. Please choose the contribution level that best matches your financial situation. Participating Festivals & Organisations

#SOUNDCITYFREIBURG is the annual festival for subculture, club culture and pop culture – for, with and from Freiburg. The 15 to 20 programme events, taking place across various venues over a single weekend, combine high and low culture, disco and discourse, pop and politics. The interdisciplinary festival represents, strengthens and promotes the rich diversity of Freiburg’s subculture, club and pop culture.

The CHANCE Festival is a Franco-German pop and democracy festival held in Düsseldorf’s Hofgarten. With concerts, talks and workshops, and free admission, it creates an open space for encounters, cultural exchange and democratic dialogue – and brings European cooperation and social participation to life.

The Alte Feuerwache Mannheim is one of the most important cultural and event venues in Mannheim and the Rhine-Neckar region. Our venue offers a diverse programme of music, art, literature, theatre, spoken word and party series. Our aim is to move beyond Eurocentric cultural perspectives and reflect a more diverse cultural landscape. We are actively committed to promoting the regional music and cultural scene and offer targeted support programmes and infrastructure.

Fluctuations is a travelling festival that follows Europe’s rivers. Why not come and experience it for yourself? You’ll discover concerts, DJ sets, thought-provoking talks, hands-on workshops, a village brimming with projects that inspire action, and a plant-based food court that’s a real treat. Every stop is a new city, a new vibe, a burst of collective energy by the water’s edge.

In 2026, the JuggleManiac Festival will celebrate its eighth edition with a unique two-day cross-border music festival in the Cleebourg/Wissembourg border region, nestled amongst vineyards and fields. This intimate festival, with its friendly atmosphere, offers the perfect escape from everyday life and a superb programme to delight the ears, eyes and palate.

Every autumn, the Sunnyside Festival in Reims establishes itself as the unmissable event dedicated to jazz and African-American music. Since its inception, the festival has focused on two key objectives: upholding core values and providing enjoyment for audiences of all kinds. Each year’s festival invites visitors to explore the rich musical diversity of jazz, soul, funk, blues, hip-hop and improvised music, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Our network partners

The Grabuge association brings together stakeholders across the sector around shared values, within a framework of public interest. We inform stakeholders, encourage collaboration, and represent our members. Our work contributes to structuring the popular music sector in the Grand Est region.

pop rlp is the umbrella brand for the promotion of popular music culture in Rhineland-Palatinate. Our focus is on supporting young musicians, connecting all stakeholders in the industry, and providing needs-based training and further education. Our aim is to promote popular music in all its stylistic diversity.

Since 1999, Lokale Agenda has been active in Trier and the surrounding region as a charity, running a wide range of projects, providing high-quality educational initiatives and maintaining an extensive network. It acts as a link between citizens and the city council, an educational organisation and a thought leader – whether on Fairtrade, cycling or specialist discourse. ‘We stand for a Trier with a future.’

The nationwide Culture4Climate programme works with the cultural sector to help achieve global climate and sustainability goals. In the face of climate change, the cultural sector has a dual role: to reduce climate-damaging emissions across all cultural sectors and to promote a cultural shift towards a culture of sustainability through cultural practice.
