About Futura C

Futura C is a cross-border journey into the future of sustainable and inclusive culture. Bringing together artistic professionals from France, Germany, and beyond, the project empowers the cultural sector to rethink how events are imagined, designed, and produced.

At its core, Futura C equips cultural practitioners with the tools and confidence to create event formats that are environmentally responsible, socially fair, and creatively bold. Through an international workshop series and a hands-on digital toolkit, participants discover practical strategies inspired by the EU GreenComp Framework as well as the EU principles of equality, diversity, and non-discrimination.

Anchored in the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), Futura C supports professional development that truly makes a difference: participants learn skills they can apply immediately while shaping a more sustainable cultural landscape for the long term.

Futura C is not just a project — it’s a movement toward greener, fairer, and more future-ready cultural experiences across Europe.

Workshop Dates

Join us at our first project workshops — embedded in lively cultural festivals.

Participants in FUTURA C always take part in a pair of workshops, designed as a connected learning journey across borders and topics. Each participant attends one workshop in France and one in Germany, fostering international exchange and collaboration. At the same time, the two workshops complement each other thematically: one focuses on sustainability, the other on inclusion. This structure ensures that participants gain a holistic understanding of how to create cultural events that are both environmentally responsible and socially inclusive—while building strong cross-border connections with fellow professionals.
